Session 1:

In Christ: A New Master and a New Identity

Jesus promises his followers a new life, one of righteousness and victory.  Yet many struggle to see a true difference between the way they lived before coming to Christ and their new life in Jesus.  This workshop will explore not just what a follower of Jesus does, but who a follower of Jesus is.

The Word:  Saturated in the Scriptures

Messages and sermons, personal Bible reading and in depth study, scripture memory, and prayerful meditation.  What part do each of these disciplines play in helping us follow God? How do you build each of these helpful practices into your life right now as a college student?

Prayer:  Asking in His Name

How does Jesus want me to pray?  I know God can do big things, but what expectations should I have for how He will answer me?  This workshop will address basic questions that both younger and older Christ-followers ask regarding prayer.

Fellowship:  Teamwork in the Kingdom of God

Each believer plays a unique and vital role in the body of Christ.  Yet such diversity often brings with itself pride or personal feelings of inferiority.  A distinguishing mark of the disciples in Jesus' movement (although a continual struggle)was the way they loved one another in the midst of unique personalities, gifting, and calling.  This workshop will help you practically bring the love of Christ into your relationships with other believers.

Time Management: Making Time for what is Important

Learn principles and strategies for maximizing your time and becoming more available to God and others during college.  You will also receive some help with common time management obstacles such as perfection and procrastination.

Personal Discipleship: Students Investing in the Next Generation

What role does God expect people to play in the process of spiritual growth?  How does a student disciple another student?  You will walk away from this workshop with vision, knowledge, and skills to begin or continue  personally discipling another student.

Session 2:

Evangelism: Bringing Your Friends to Jesus

For many the term evangelism conjures up images of side-walk engagements with strangers, altar calls, and intermission preaching during Christian concerts.  But what is your part in the process?  For that matter, what is the process?

Bible Study Leader Development

Leading a freshman or upperclassmen Bible Study on your campus?  Get help from experienced staff and other students on ways to improve recruitment, retention, student preparation, group discussion, and community.
Seminar for Graduating Seniors
Ministering on the other side of graduation looks a little different than your experience as college student.  Come get some training in what evangelism and personal discipleship looks like in the professional world, as well as how you can contribute as an alumni to your campus ministry.
Illustrating the Gospel:  The Bridge
An illustration often helps people grasp a concept or a message.  In this workshop you will learn how to share the Bridge Illustration, a helpful tool in communicating the gospel.
Personal Discipleship (same as Session 1)
What role does God expect people to play in the process of spiritual growth?  How does a student disciple another student?  You will walk away from this workshop with vision, knowledge, and skills to begin or continue  personally discipling another student.
The Word (same as Session 1)
Messages and sermons, personal Bible reading and in depth study, scripture memory, and prayerful meditation.  What part do each of these disciplines play in helping us follow God? How do you build each of these helpful practices into your life right now as a college student?
